I caught my reflection in a spoon while I was eating my cereal, and I remember thinking, ‘Wow, you’re ridiculously good-looking. Maybe you could do that for a career.’” Hey, it’s Mako, your movie-talking podcast host. This time, I’ve got Orma from Pocket ni Numa wo joining me to talk about my all-time favorite dumb movie—the ultimate champ in that category—Zoolander (and yes, we’ll touch on Zoolander No. 2 too). Some movies just make you crack up no matter how many times you’ve seen them. Back in the day, I was just rolling on the floor laughing. But rewatching it now, you realize—hey, there’s actually some sharp satire tucked in there. Orma brings the serious deep-dive energy, so honestly, this one might have a surprising amount of substance. But let’s be real: the real point of Zoolander is one thing, and one thing only— Orange Mocha Frappuccino!! podcaster Mako (@_macobana) brings you this spin-off from the main channel Pocket ni Numa wo (#ポケ沼). There’s no end to the movies we want to talk about, so new episodes drop weekly or every other week. 💬 Share your thoughts with #リルパル #ReelPal—your tweet might get featured on the show! 📝 Official Note blog: https://note.com/mako_reel_pal/n/n17867575e9f5 📮 Theme talk submission form: https://forms.gle/4PT2GBA7TY8vAoCx7 📧 Direct messages: [email protected] Thanks for tuning in—stay ridiculously good-looking out there.
