[Replay] LUCY — Where Does Humanity Go From Here?

I am everywhere. “I am everywhere.” Hey, I’m Mako — your movie podcast host. This time, joined by Oma from Swamp in Your Pocket (#ポケ沼). Today’s topic: LUCY. We’ve been talking about AI lately, but this one’s about a whole different kind of evolution: What happens when a human reaches the next stage? If the brain’s potential really is only 10%, what happens when you unlock all of it? Yeah — it’s a total sci-fi cliché. But even as a popcorn flick, there’s something about Lucy that gets you thinking. Where does limitless knowledge lead? And where does humanity end? Fair warning: by the second half of this episode, I’m half-asleep and barely making sense, and Oma’s fighting through some serious connection lag. Enjoy the chaos. Hosted by Mako (@_macobana), this is the official podcast account for Yomoyama Kobanashi, a spin-off of Swamp in Your Pocket (#ポケ沼).
