REPORT: Michigan Ditching Bryce Underwood at QB?

Does Michigan football coach Kyle Whittingham plan to dump young but promising quarterback Bryce Underwood following this college football season if he fails to deliver?  At least one report not only suggests this is so but that Whittingham already has a successor in mind from his old days at Utah.  This would definitely grab headlines around the Big Ten!  We analyze if such a big move is likely to be in motion and weight the pros and cons.   We also look into the hierarchy at Michigan State as the school settles its administration with the rehiring of its school president Kevin Guskiewicz and the naming of interim athletic director Jon Palumbo following J Batt's departure for Kentucky.   In more Michigan news the Wolverines removed the interim tag from new basketball coach Mike Boynton Jr as Warde Manuel gave him a two year deal.  Speaking of Michigan, offensive lineman Lincoln Mageo committed to Ann Arbor over Washington and Utah over the weekend.   And congratulations to UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky who became the number one pick in the MLB draft this weekend when the Chicago White Sox chose him!   We also make our Top Ten Big Ten Observations from the weekend!  And we will look for your comments on whether Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood is a short-timer or long-term solution for Kyle Whittingham after this college football season.
