Repose of Saint Anthimus, Bishop of Georgia

Today we remember Saint Anthimus of Iberia, a remarkable bishop known for his vast knowledge and artistic talents. Fluent in many languages and skilled in theology, literature, and the arts, he played a key role in advancing Christian culture and printing in Wallachia. Saint Anthimus faced great trials, including captivity and exile, and ultimately gave his life defending his people and faith.
