Born Vasily Ivanovich Belavin in 1865, he devoted his life to the Church, serving both in Russia and America with humility and dedication. Saint Tikhon became Patriarch during a time of great trial for the Church. Despite persecution and hardship, he remained a steadfast shepherd, known for his meekness, wisdom, and love for all people.Support the show
