Republican candidates discuss issues at election forum

The Box Elder County Republic Party hosted an election forum last Thursday at Utah State University Brigham City, where candidates for several different seats addressed a number of issues. Utah Senate Dist. 1 Candidates for Utah Senate District 1, incumbent Scott Sandall, a Box Elder County farmer and rancher, and challenger Fred Hayes, outlined competing priorities on growth, education and constitutional issues.
