Republicans Aren't Worried About Polls or Gas Prices Because They Plan to Cheat

They commit five impeachable offenses every day.The current occupant of the oval office was convicted of business fraud related to election interference in 2016. He was under indictment for 2020. There were bomb threats and other questions about 2024.This is a trend.People also need to understand that election interference takes many forms. There’s the SAVE act, there’s gerrymandering, there’s purging voter rolls, there’s disqualifying ballots, there’s eliminating mail-in ballots. Heck, the GOP seems willing to dismantle the post office to interfere with voting.Republicans do it all the time. They’re not secret about it. They get up to podiums and brag about how “we’ll never have to vote again.”Meanwhile, the Democrats are licking their lips expecting a blue wave in 2026 because of gas prices. Many of them are acting like it’s in the bag. But the Republicans aren’t worried.Not even a little bit.Why do you think that is?I find it really concerning how so many people still think the concept of election integrity is “off limits.” The argument is that if we talk about how Republicans cheat it will discourage people from voting.Meanwhile, that’s literally the only thing Republicans ever talk about. Republicans lie and insist undocumented people vote even though they’ve never been able to prove that. For some reason, Republicans are able to talk and talk and talk about things without any evidence at all. But when rational people discuss evidence, we’re silenced.Republican election interference isn’t a conspiracy. It’s been proven in court.Also, when Republicans discuss election interference, it doesn’t drive down their turnout now does it?Maybe the Democrats should change strategy and answer the Republican lies with actual facts. That would be something they haven’t tried before. We shouldn’t do the same thing over and over and expect a different result.The thing about election interference is that it’s not static. It’s not like there’s only one tactic that the Republicans will employ and then forget about. It’s nefarious.Hasn’t anyone been watching? The resistance is still responding to their assumption about what a malicious force will look like. We’re not reacting to the data. We’re not evaluating the evidence before our eyes.We have all sorts of problems in the USA. Social media algorithms and the press have both been captured. They tell endless lies. The people make decisions on bad information. Yes, the general public has to be educated (Democrats aren’t trying to do that either).Yes, there are nefarious PACs that spend millions of dollars on awful candidates.Yes, yes, yes. More than one thing can be true at the same time. Another thing that Republicans do is they cheat.They cheat, they cheat, they cheat. This is a political movement without a shred of integrity. From what I’m seeing, they don’t even have an instinct for basic survival. We’re looking at people who have invaded Iran on a lie (they weren’t close to getting a nuclear weapon). They’re spending billions of dollars a day, but they don’t have funding to prevent a pandemic?Stop and think about that for a moment.They’re trying to sell the war in Iran based on the idea that it will make Americans “safer.” But over a million Americans died because of COVID, and now there have been reports of an Ebola outbreak.I mean, look at how cruel and lawless the Republicans have been. When COVID hit, they deliberately gave us the wrong information. They told us not to mask up. They became enraged at social distancing. They told us everything they’d tell us if they wanted us to die.I’ve been around for half a century and there were never any pandemics in the USA. Now that this new generation of Republicans has come to power, pandemics are a daily threat.There are high ranking men in the government who want to automate everything. The explanation that Republicans want a pandemic to wipe us out makes a lot more sense than any other conclusion based on their behavior.Give yourself permission to evaluate theories on their merit, not on what you want to believe.Now, I’m not saying that we should lay down and act like it’s hopeless. I’m saying we should be realistic. We need to demand inquiries. We need to listen to the experts for a change.Have you talked to election integrity experts? Oh, you haven’t? Then why are you so sure the elections are secure?Because I’ve talked to election integrity experts and they have a LOT to say.All we have to do is encourage state attorney generals to pledge to investigate elections. We want them verified. We want the machines audited. We want recounts.Remember, although recounts are expensive, they’re a lot cheaper than foreign wars and domestic concentration camps. Let’s stop allowing ourselves to have this massive blind spot about our current reality. Democrats are sitting around rubbing their hands together chortling about the blue wave that’s coming in November. They don’t even want to think about election integrity because, well… that’s just not something they do.But Republicans aren’t worried. It’s been proven in court they’ve cheated before. Also, they’ve stood behind podiums and declared they were going to cheat.The people said, “What?”The Republicans replied, “Just kidding.”The people said, “Okay.”That’s how we got here. Now, in all other instances I assume that Republicans are lying. But in the case of election interference, when they say they’re going to do it, I believe them.Isn’t it obvious by now?Republicans have no integrity. They plan to cheat.
