Plus, an Idaho teacher makes headlines for resisting her district’s message to take down signs that say “everyone is welcome here.” The district says the signs “don’t allow people to express differing opinions, that it is controversial in today’s political environment.” The era of using school and district policy to explicitly make room for people who believe that we all are, in fact, not welcome here, has begun.
