Crystal was a reporter in Minneapolis, Minnesota, covering the George Floyd murder and the civil unrest that followed. Crystal has just released a memoir, More to Tell. She tells the story of George Floyd's murder, as well as facing sexism and racism while covering the story. In this episode, we talk about Crystal's experience in a toxic work environment, the George Floyd murder, and literally getting caught in the crossfire between police and protestors.
