Happy weekend The term Uplifting (German "uplifting") stands for a euphoric character, which is generated by catchy melodies, patterns and sequences. In doing so, the listener is put into a feeling of ecstasy, which on the one hand influences him meditatively, but on the other hand triggers the urge to move towards it. The tempo is usually around the 136-140 BPM. Other notable features include a relatively complex succinct melody, energetic sounds and rolling basslines. The bassline does not consist of a 4/4-offbeat bassline as in classical trance, but mostly of a sixteenth-based pattern (Veracocha - Carte Blanche, especially good in the setup part).
