Rescued from Affluence

Welcome to the Table!  January is National Human Trafficking Prevention month. Being an advocate for survivors is an area of both calling and passion for me. I was honored to sit at the table with Dr. Jeanne Allert. Jeanne is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Institute for Survivor Care located in La Grange, Kentucky.  Jeanne was a pioneer in this field. In 2007 Jeanne was convicted to leave the trappings of a lucrative career as an internet consultant to establish one of the first long term restorative care programs in the Mid-Atlantic for victims of domestic sex trafficking. Her story is compelling. She brings a depth of insight into this very complex atrocity happening all around us.  Jeanne has table flipping perspectives that I believe will move you to consider what you can do to be an advocate. She speaks truth bombs to middle aged women, parents, and men in this episode.
