Resident Evil (aka Crystal Pepsi Tesseract) w/ Steve Seigh

Fear Level: Spoopy Trigger Warnings: Zombies, violence to animals, dismemberment, AI Director: Paul W.S. Anderson Writers: Paul W.S. Anderson Stars: Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez, Eric Mabius, James Purefoy You're all going to die down here...of laughter! Resident Evil is the movie that we somehow got instead of an adaptation of the hit horror game series by the same name. It features Milla Jovovich in a role that answers the question no one dared to ask: had you considered just kicking the zombies? Joined by a flock on white guys so indistinguishable that it's hard to keep track of who is dead and, of course, Michelle Rodriguez doing her TOUGH GIRL SHIT (TM). Come, join us as we grope hopelessly through a sea of nu metal in hopes of finding something redeeming. Topics of Discussion: -Nu Metal: Threat or Menace? -At what point to we have to accept that people in this movie live in an alternate universe where there are no zombie movies -Communication is key -Did you program you AI with the brain of a 9 year old? -Some very good boys and their tasty jelly and meat suits -Milla train four months...for this? -Why is Kaplan still here? -Wait...did you hit your onsite security team with amnesia gas...on purpose? -Like Stannis Baratheon, all of our ships go down in flames. -Bad CGI kills Recommendations: Resident Evil Game Remakes Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition Dying Light Dead Rising Zombie U (for your Wii U) 28 Days Later Train to Busan Dead Alive Event Horizon Battle Angel Alita (comics) Underworld Blade A Knight's Tale Blood Quantum Follow our guest: Follow our guest: Steve Seigh Twitter: @dead_anchoress Talking Comics Podcast Follow us on twitter @proghorrorpod Follow Emily on twitter @megamoth Emily's Website: Megamoth.net Follow Ben on twitter @benthekahn Pre-Order Ben's new book, Renegade Rule.
