He began writing formally in his 30s and did technical writing, writing for a small gay newspaper in Philadelphia, and in the early 2000s wrote his first of four books. Jonathan has recently begun writing a column on Substack.com called “Wise Guy” which is free to interested readers, no similar themes. He has been a counselor since 2000, after completing his Master’s Degree, and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2010.
