Send us Fan MailIn this episode, we talk about the hardest job I ever had. Stepmom. The reason this job was the hardest was because I was always reminded of who I am not. I understood early in my marriage that my step-children did not need another mom. It was one of the best realizations that I have had because I didn't think I was a replacement or being punished because these children were here before I was. I believe that the relationship that my husband had before me was none of my business and to this day, it still isn't any of my business.I never called my children "step" and I found myself excited about little people that I had an opportunity to influence. I have often told them that the difference between them and their younger siblings is time. I have spent more time with the younger children. Everything isn't always easy, but it is worth it. I have 3 additional people to love and be loved by.Did you find something in this episode that someone should hear? Please refer to this episode. We do better when we know better.
