RESILIENCE – The Critical Success Factor

from The Business Elevation Show Where Good Matters · host Chris Cooper

Resilience is a key component for successfully navigating the peaks and troughs of business. On this show we have someone who has experienced uncommon extremes in his own journey. Acclaimed author, Milos Stankovic was an officer in Britain's elite forces. With a background in linguistics and psychological operations (PsyOps) he spent the war in Bosnia bridging cultural divides between the warring factions and the UN. In dealing with the Bosnian Serbs he helped negotiate ceasefires, the release of hostages and was heavily involved in Schindler's List, a covert operation to save stricken families in Sarajevo. At journey's end he was decorated by the Queen for his work in Bosnia. A year later he was falsely accused of spying and arrested. His career and reputation in tatters, he began a ten-year fight back to clear his name. Resilience was the critical component of victory. Founder of the Braveheart charity, he now applies his experience and expertise in PsyOps to branding businesses.
