Andrea is the founder of Poetic Black Gurl LLC. Andrea went from being a bright academic scholar to a college dropout and an educational entrepreneur. Andrea studied art education and art therapy at the College of New Rochelle. Andrea has led student workshops at August Aichhorn Residential Treatment Center in Brooklyn. Andrea has also worked in various public NYC schools, leading professional development seminars. Andrea has been performing spoken word poetry since 2016 and speaking professionally since 2020.
