Dave Stone was born in Ohio, moved to Oregon in 1980 to get his MS in Recreation Management. Undergrad degree in Community Organization (just like Obama) His passion passion is for protecting the natural world. His talent is photography and writing and organizing. His experience has been leading the successful campaign to achieve  60,000 acres of  Wilderness protection for the Waldo Lake area in the high Cascades of Oregon, conservation chair for our local Audubon Society, and other conservation positions.
