"Resistance" - Rest & ReCreation, Part 2

We have more time than ever before, and yet we feel less free. We live in a world of constant hurry and endless worry, and yet God invites us to rest. This Sunday we continued our new series Rest & ReCreation, taking a fresh look at the Sabbath as a gift of God's Grace. This morning we looked at Sabbath's connection to the Exodus story in Deuteronomy 5:12-15, and the invitation to liberation that God still extends to us today. Bottom line:  God initiates the Sabbath to liberate us from slavery.
