Resisting Salvation

In Genesis 19:12–29, Lot and his family face God's coming judgment upon Sodom and Gomorrah. Through their responses—laughing, lingering, and looking back—we see the dangers of rejecting God's warnings, delaying obedience, and clinging to the world. Yet even in Lot's hesitation, God's extraordinary mercy is revealed. This sermon examines the seriousness of God's judgment, the danger of apostasy, and the call to persevere in faith, finding our only refuge in Jesus Christ.
