Respectable Sins: Pride - Respectable Sins

In this sermon Riley explores the hidden and destructive nature of pride. Far more than arrogance, pride is a heart that chooses self-dependence over dependence on God. Looking at Genesis 3 and throughout Scripture, she illustrates how pride lies beneath many of our struggles, shaping our identity, relationships, and view of God. Yet the gospel offers hope: God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Through resisting pride, repenting, receiving grace, and walking in community, we can find true freedom, rest, and transformation in Christ.
