Las Fotos Project’s mission is to elevate the voices of teenage girls & gender-expansive youth from communities of color through photography and mentoring, empowering them to channel their creativity for the benefit of themselves, their community, and future careers.Several of the Las Fotos Project members have been impacted by the LA Fires, in response they have begun documenting the stories of artists who lost their equipment and studios in the fires.They are calling on artists impacted by the fires to share their stories on their website: lasfotosproject.org.
