RESPONSIBILITY OF GODS DEACON

Outside of a Planned Parenthood in Asheville North Carolina the Lord granted us some time with this officer.    We have had some folks questioning our motives when it comes to addressing law enforcement about their involvement at the mill.  In this conversation Kevin addresses the officer in a respectful manor to explain the truth about what is going on in the mill. Kevin also explains the officers responsibility to Romans 13 and that he is God's deacon and the officer is in subjection to God as the highest authority to punish evil and reward good.    What is evil and what is good? God's Word tells us and the governing authorities are subject to God's Law Word.  Kevin shares the Gospel with the officer and asks him to think about this message of reconciliation and ultimately serving God according to His Law Word and calls him to repentance.   Romans 13 1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain.
