Rest

This week during bible study, we discussed the importance of resting. For far to long we have lived under the notion that rest needs to be earned by working ourselves to death. The truth in Christ is that we work, live, and operate from His rest. It's the Lord's rest that continually fuels us, renews us, strengthens us, empowers us, and allows us to keep moving forward. His rest isn't just the promise of being with Him after we finish the job here, but it is the promise that He will be with us always. Are you tired? Angry? Sad? Lonely? Broken? Lost? Confused? Hurting? Do you have something to say but no one to listen? Try Jesus today and accept His rest. It will take you 110% of the way as you fulfill your purpose in this life.
