Not to pretend you are fine. Just come.He promises rest for every weary place inside of you. True rest is not found in distractions or in trying to hold everything together. True rest comes when your soul lets go and leans into Him again. The one who restores. The one who strengthens. The one who carries you.Maybe today your heart feels stretched thin. Maybe disappointment, grief, or constant giving has left you empty. Jesus is not asking you to fix it. He is asking you to bring it. His rest renews what life has drained. His presence restores what effort cannot.Take a breath. Place the weight you feel into His hands. Let your heart whisper, Lord, I am tired. I come to you. Rest begins right there.As you slow down, remember this. Rest is not running from purpose. Rest is returning to strength. You cannot pour from an empty soul, but when you rest in Him, you begin to overflow again.So today, choose one quiet moment with Jesus. Sit. Breathe.
