Resting in Blessed Assurance, That Christ is Here | 3,650 Minutes of Prayer

Today we explored Part One of Hebrews 10, focusing on verses 1 to 24. We laid most of our understanding on verses 19 to 23, reflecting on the boldness we now have to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus. Hebrews 9:2 to 3 contrasts this with the earthly tabernacle, where the priests entered the Holy Place, and the high priest alone entered the Holiest of All once a year. Yet, Hebrews 10:19 declares: "Therefore, believers, since we have confidence and full freedom to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus."When Christ died, the veil was torn, giving us total assurance and boldness to approach our Lord because we live in Him. We related this to the promise in Jeremiah 31:33: "I will put My laws within them, and on their heart I will write them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people." This is the law of the Spirit, which is the eternal life, as written in Romans 8:2: "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and of death."
