Resting in Grace During Advent
from MORNINGS with Stephen Johnsy
Resting in Grace During Advent In today’s Advent devotional episode of the Mornings with Stephen Johnsy Podcast, we explore Romans 5:1 and the foundation of genuine peace — reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ. True peace is not merely emotional calm or the absence of stress; it is the deep spiritual assurance that comes from knowing we are forgiven, accepted, and fully restored into a relationship with God. This episode speaks to the hearts of believers struggling with lingering guilt, spiritual insecurity, and the pressure to “strive for perfection.” Through Scripture reflection, pastoral encouragement, and prayer, listeners are invited to release burdens of shame and rest in the peace Christ has already secured. If you’ve ever felt distant from God despite your faith, this devotional offers healing truth: you already belong — peace with God is yours. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 📖 Scripture Focus: Romans 5:1 🙏 Devotion + Prayer + Reflection 📲Share this with someone who needs encouragement today.
