Galatians 5:13-1513 For you were called to freedom, brothers.Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through loveserve one another.14 Forthe whole law is fulfilled in one word:“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Definition of Freedom1.   Freewill: The ability to choose and act at one's own discretion.2. Freedom: The condition of exercising freewill within the boundary of the Law.  Enemy of Freedom34Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.1. Jesus is the Source of freedomJohn 8:3636So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. 2. Jesus is the process of freedomJesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." 3. Jesus is the completion of freedom 35Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. Misuse of Freedom1. Legalism: Faith in Works Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. 2.
