Restore my soul from this lump of coal

Restore my soul because I broke it If you’re a Christian (and if you’re not, you should be), you probably already know how trouble is always close at hand. You can’t swing a dead cornstalk (you thought I was gonna say something else, didn’t you) without trouble showing up. And I don’t know about you (well, I do a little bit because you’re human) but I’m my own worst enemy. So, that’s why I’m so grateful there’s a true, living, loving God of all creation who can and did restore my soul.   And since I know God can restore my soul, I know He can restore yours. Because your problems and troubles and challenges are not too big. Oh sure, they might feel too big. And many times they’re way more than you’d ever want to endure. But they’re not too big. Not for your living, loving Creator. And that’s partly why I wrote a song about it for my little church to sing, way back when I led worship there. I hope you get some soul relief from these lyrics.
