Restored How long can I hold it in, without bursting at the seams If everything is so golden, where’s the rest of our dreams Coughing out detached emotions landing before you the detritus Ugly shadows stealing sunlight robbing all the hope and joy inside us Cutting into my soul Losing all thought control Villains! The path to my happiness got cored Hold me closer, bring it back make me restored Draw the curtains is that rain, sometimes that’s all it really takes Courses through me, the pain, my entire body stiffens and everything aches So, when my brain is choosing which, deal with my dreams or respond to my bones Cool one for me babe flip the switch, soothe me and let’s silence our cell phones Cutting into my soul Losing all thought control Villains!
