Summary

Jesus freely gave his life on the cross. Jesus was the perfect lamb. He was the spotless, sinless sacrifice. The religious leaders of Christ's day were jealous of him. They turned and twisted the truth, they told Friday lies to sentence him to the cross in hopes of getting rid of Jesus, but on the third day, Jesus rose from the grave. Today, Satan is still lying about Jesus, in hopes of casting doubt about the hope that we have in Christ. These are the same type of lies that the religious people told to send Jesus to the cross, lies to discount and discredit Jesus. These are Friday night lies, lies meant to make people reject Jesus, lies meant to make people doubt his resurrection, and to doubt and reject salvation. Satan knows that his destiny is the lake of fire and he tells Friday night lies, to deceive as many people as possible so that they will spend eternity in hell with him and his demons.
