Resurrection Sunday: Are we any better?

In this message, we celebrate the greatest victory in history—the moment when Jesus Christ rose from the dead, conquering sin, death, hell, and the grave. Because He lives, we have hope, forgiveness, and eternal life. As Scripture declares in 1 Corinthians 15:55–57 “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? … But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” In this Resurrection Sunday message, we reflect on the events of Holy Week, beginning with Palm Sunday and leading to the cross and the empty tomb. We also wrestle with a powerful and honest question: Are we any better than the people in the story of Jesus’ crucifixion?
