There was plenty of killing, stealing, gambling, shooting, and things were going on that was illegal. Sometimes Resurren stole food and money when someone pulled a gun on her. She learned from her father how to take it from a man's hands to use it at Ballpark Playground. Resurren was miss treated by the middleman. She wanted to leave the playground, but the other ball players begged her to stay. The middleman name was Jack. He helped the boys in the streets to get into college to play ball. He try to make Resurren feel like she would never make it.So she began to lean more towards going to school. Resurren didn't like school and sometimes she wouldn't show up. She thought it was boring, but she was a very bright student and a freshman. All she wanted to do was play ball. To keep from getting kicked out of school, she attended more to play basketball for the school. The high school team was weak, but Resurren made it number one in basketball tournaments. The Cobras finally became state champions. The team loved and admired Resurren. They began to call her Rezza for short. You’re listening to “Ballpark Playground.
