I started off the interview apologizing to John for doing what I think a lot of us do when it comes to incidents that are reported in the media, we believe what we are told. At every turn mainstream media has failed to report the truth and have conveniently replaced it with whatever version supports the us vs them , defund, movement. They run with lies because agency leadership allows them to do so. When lies aren't challenged with the truth, when repeated enough, those lies become facts in the eyes of the public. John Mattingly, his brothers on that warrant, his family in the aftermath have been betrayed.
