Rethink Everything: Episode 26 - John Lamerton (part 1)

JOHN LAMERTON is a lazy entrepreneur and investor, a former civil servant, who started a dotcom company back in 2000, despite having no skills, knowledge or experience – “but then neither did most of the other dotcom businesses at that time, so I was in good company!” He has run more than 60 small businesses since 2000, making millions of pounds, and thousands of mistakes along the way. Nowadays, he balances running what he calls an “ambitious lifestyle business” with raising two young children. In the first part of this hugely entertaining reintroduction to Rethink Everything (after the summer break), the founder of Cr*pster (seriously) and Free Racing Tips and author of Big Ideas for Small Business tells stories about how he started in business and became such a super successful entrepreneur, one who could be on holiday permanently and still have a business run itself (which is ultimately how entrepreneurs gauge their success). https://www.amazon.co.uk/Big-Ideas-Small-Businesses-Practical-ebook/dp/B073SJ74MR/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1507036335&sr=8-1&keywords=john+lamerton https://www.facebook.com/Lammo77 https://www.bigidea.co.uk/category/podcasts/
