Rethink Failure- #16
from Beyond the Artistry Hosted by Jordan and Lindsay
Hey everyone! It's been a whirlwind of a summer, and we're back with another insightful episode. Today, I'm recording from our new location in sunny Sarasota, Florida. If you've been keeping up, you'll know we've been super busy with opening this second location and rebranding from Michiana Microblading to Bowerman Artistry. In this episode, I want to share a story from our recent training sessions that really struck a chord with me. One of our students asked a critical question: "How can I start in permanent makeup without making mistakes?" This question opens up a broader discussion about the fear of failure and how it can hold us back. Drawing inspiration from a recent podcast by marketing guru Russell Brunson, we'll explore how to shift our mindset to embrace failure as a step towards success. I'll recount my own experiences from the early days of my career, the hesitations, and the breakthroughs. We'll talk about the importance of confidence, continual learning, and the inevitability of mistakes. Also, don't miss out on hearing about our upcoming appearance at PMU World, the largest permanent makeup conference in North America, happening from August 5th to 9th in Miami. It's an amazing opportunity to learn and network. Join us as we dive into these crucial insights, and hopefully, this episode inspires you to push through your fears and embrace the journey. Stay tuned and let's grow together! Tune in now and let's get started!
