Rethinking: Romans 8 and Creation pt 2

This is part two in rethinking the use of creation in Romans 8.  We have seen the examples used in scripture of the creation of a set apart people of the Old Covenant and now, the saints, of the New Covenant.  Corporately, that generation was groaning and waiting for the redemption of the body.  Which body?  Theirs or the body of Christ, the Church?  Is this something future still or something that happened at the end of the transitional period in 70 AD with the destruction of Jerusalem?
