Rethinking the CIO – CEO relationship

The CIO's role has morphed from technology manager to strategic leader who has critical inputs related to what the organization offers to the customers and how it adapt to the changing marketplace. This warrants a CIO to work as a peer to the CEO so they become a cohesive unit instead of just sharing a reporting relationship.
