When we talk about the importance of retirement planning, we're usually talking to those people in the "retirement red zone", which are those five to 10 years away from retirement and to those already retired. Retirement is hardly a priority for the 20 and 30 year olds. Young adults are not usually worrying about what their going to need in their 70s when they're focused so much on their developing career, student loans, starting a family, and so on and so forth.
