Return of the Mooch: She's Cancer-Free and Back to Work

Man, that was some scary shit, finding a lump on our beloved dog, Mooch.We found it on Friday evening. She’d just gotten better from being fairly sick for a couple of days. We attributed it to her recent change in diet. When she started feeling better, we thought we were in the clear.Then Mai found a lump. A decent-sized one. That happening will scare you shitless. Trust me.Some of you know how that feels. I saw all of the comments you left about your fur babies when I posted about Mooch. I get it. They mean the world to us. We both thank you for your kind words, prayers, and good vibes. I talk about what she went through in today’s episode.She’s all good. Just a fatty deposit, called a lipoma. She’s feeling fine and is back to being a happy girl. She’s also leaning against my leg as usual when I write or record a podcast episode. She even went on a car ride today, as you can see from the photo.I’m glad she’s ok. More than glad. So fucking relieved. Mooch is a big part of what I do here on Substack.
