This podcast contains comments from the May 27, 2026 broadcast of WTAW Radio's The Infomaniacs.The day after WTAW's Scott DeLucia announces he is retiring after 59 years, he introduces the newest member of The Infomaniacs morning show.Returning to Bryan Broadcasting is Tucker "Frito" Young.It is a full circle moment for Tucker, who joined Bryan Broadcasting as a WTAW News intern in 2003.He picked up the "Frito" moniker after becoming part of the Candy 95 morning show in 2005.In 2022, Tucker went to San Antonio and to Houston in 2025 to lead morning shows.After returning to Bryan/College Station in April 2026, Scott shared his pending retirement with Tucker and asked if he was interested in joining The Infomaniacs.When Tucker made his debut Wednesday morning (May 27) on The Infomaniacs, he said "I was excited by the opportunity, mostly because growing up in College Station and Bryan and around the area, if you listen to radio, you would listen to you (Scott) and Jay and Tom and everybody else. So this is kind of like being on the radio show of record for the Brazos Valley."
