Reuben Davidson: Labour MP on National's U-16 social media ban and the difficulty of getting access to the details

An Opposition MP's wary of National's social media ban, claiming some information's missing.  Labour's Reuben Davidson says he's read the Bill multiple times but hasn't seen a regulatory impact statement or the Privacy Commissioner's advice.  He wants a copy to discuss with his caucus, but Education Minister Erica Stanford says legally that's not possible.   Davidson told Mike Hosking limited access is slowing down the process.   He says there's a risk a bad Bill could create a false sense of security and allow harm to continue.  LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
