The Theology, Medicine, and Culture Initiative at Duke Divinity School and the Trent Center for Bioethics, Humanities & History of Medicine at Duke held a seminar on September 18, 2020 with Reverend Gloria White-Hammond, MD, the Swartz Resident Practitioner of Ministry Studies at Harvard Divinity School and co co-pastor of Bethel AME Church, Boston. Her talk is entitled, "African American Spirituality, Serious Illness, and the COVID-19 Crisis."
