On this episode of the podcast, we discus the angst some Christian communities are having in response to COVID-19. Whether passively or explicitly, some of the messages which are prevalent in the world right now seem to liken towards the contradictions we can find in the ever-popular prosperity gospel. This Christ-less version of the gospel preaches that the Creator's primary function in our spiritual development is to placate our pain. The truth we find in Scripture, however, is that God was, is, and always will be worthy. In any and every season of trial or blessing, He is Lord and is ultimately in control; leading and loving us so that our faith in Christ may be perfected and our ministry to the world may be rich.
