Through life-long dedication to her tribe, the Lummi who are the original inhabitants of Washington’s northernmost coast and southern British Columbia, Lisa has witnessed the evolution and downfall of the annual migrations of salmon which the Lummi have relied on for centuries for survival and their cultural practices. Lisa gives us a down to earth and intimate perspective of what’s it’s like to rely on the land but witness it being stripped away by salmon farming and lack of attention from governmental bodies.
