REV On Air With Charles Eisenstein: The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible - How We Solve the Climate Crisis Philosophically

from REV On Air - Sustainable Stories by Rêve En Vert · host Rêve En Vert

Today we have the great honour of speaking to someone who we have looked up to for many years, and who has influenced much of our thinking when it comes to communicating the climate crisis, how to speak to our friends and family about sustainability and the changes we must make, and also remembering that the heart can sometimes be a more powerful ally in this fight for a better world than anything else. Our guest is Charles Eistenstein, author, philosopher and social speaker. His book The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible was one of the fundamental reads for us here at Rêve En Vert, and his latest work, Climate A New Story, has helped us gain perspective about how we address this climate crisis in a way that leads with empathy and understanding rather than anger and division. Charles and Cora discuss how we find a way to approach a new sort of human collective, a better world, and how we can talk about climate change with our friends and families in a way that will inspire rather than frustrate one another to lead to all these results. This is a conversation that will get you both questioning and considering our mindsets and our lifestyles, and we hope that this will lead to some positive actions that we all can get on board with towards healing the divisions in the world we see today that are leading to the environmental crisis we all face. We would also highly suggest you check out Charles’s books and essays, which are in the show notes below. This is one of those soulful, deep conversations that we wish we would all have more of, and we very much hope it gets you thinking as much as it did us.  https://charleseisenstein.org/books/ https://www.instagram.com/charles_eisenstein/ https://charleseisenstein.org/video/
