Revelation 2:8-17 Smyrna and Pergamum...Overcome!

Have you ever visited a church and thought, wow these guys have it together. They have all the right programs, they have people in every capacity and everything runs so perfect. The Worship service is on point, the pastor never messes up his delivery, they have huge facilities... That isn't us. And guess what, that wasn't going on in the churches that these letters are written to in Revelation. Last week we went through and we talked about Ephesus. The church that likely was the Mother Church from which all these others grew out of. Paul the church planter had started something years ago. He brought the truth of the Gospel to this area of the world, and as a result, generations of lives have been changed and still are today because of it. Think about that, is what you are doing and how you are living your life for God, or not, going to have generational effects on those you have never met? That is a big responsibility.
