Revelation 3:1-6 Strengthen What Remains

It is possible to have a strong spiritual reputation while being empty on the inside. Jesus addressed this exact problem when He spoke to the church in Sardis, warning them that their works were incomplete and calling them to wake up. Spiritual deadness does not always look dramatic. It often looks like going through the motions, serving out of guilt, or keeping up appearances. The good news is that Jesus does not leave us without direction. He calls believers to rely on the Holy Spirit, wake up from spiritual sleepwalking, return to the basics of the gospel, and walk with Him daily. These are not complicated steps, but they require honesty before God and a willingness to stop coasting on reputation alone.
