Revelation 3
from Hearing with Faith Hosted by Joshua Purdy
In Revelation 3, John is given messages to deliver to the churches in Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. To the church in Sardis, John delivers a message from Jesus admonishing them for their lack of truly living out their faith, and warning them to turn back to Him and repent. To the church in Philadelphia, John tells them that they have been faithful in their trials and will be rewarded with entrance into the New Jerusalem. However, to the church in Laodicea, John has a very pointed and harsh message from Jesus, who tells them that despite thinking they have everything under control, they are actually spiritually poor, wretched, and blind. He calls on them to repent and return to Him for true riches, clothing, and vision.
