Revelation Breakthroughs pt. 1Sunday, July 11, 2021Scott Howard*This coming decade is going to be THE MOST DRAMATIC TRANSITIONAL DECADEIN HISTORY (IT STARTED IN 2020 TO 2030). Because of the intensity of the times, ourchoices will have magnified consequences—this is true in the nation, the world, and ourindividual lives…and especially the church.*That is why the most important decision we can make by far is to seek the Lord firstabove anything else, getting to know Him and His ways better, and walking with Him moreclosely than ever before.*God is a visionary God. God wants us to grow and keep making progress...even as theworld grows darker… *There is a fire, a fresh determination being released and it is pouring through your spirit.*Say it…There’s More….My kingdom boundaries are expanding… and I'll never go backto the old ways again....*God wants you to have more than one breakthrough in your life…*Let’s all make some room in our lives for God to increase us...*Every believer will face challenges and barriers to the will of God in their lives…but eventhe most difficult barriers can be broken, and we can go to places in God we have neverbeen before.*Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 1 contains the necessary ingredients for breakthrough to thebarriers we face…Ephesians 1:17-23… “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may giveunto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18  The eyes of yourunderstanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, andwhat the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19  And what is the exceedinggreatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mightypower, 20  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at hisown right hand in the heavenly places, 21  Far above all principality, and power, and might,and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that whichis to come: 22  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over allthings to the church, 23  Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”* Necessary ingredient…*The spirit of wisdom and revelation…is the vehicle that enables believers to… See things they have never seen before Do things they have never done before Receive things they have never received before*God wants us to have ever-increasing breakthroughs in revelation…*In Matthew 16:13-20 Jesus asked His disciples: “But who do you say that I am?”  Peterreplied: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”  Jesus told Peter he was blessed, forflesh and blood (natural sources) had not revealed it to him, but he had a revelation from theFather in Heaven.•    It takes Revelation Knowledge from the Father to make us to know Who Jesus is andwho we are…2*This prayer is not really asking that God would do something for us—but that we would seewhat God has already done for us and what already belongs to us in Christ…Confession is notsomething we do to move God, it is something we do to persuade our hearts of what Jesushas already accomplished..*PAUL IS PRAYING FOR A BREAKTHROUGH IN REVELATION…*And when we live in the light of revelation knowledge we not only enjoy the blessings ofGod, but we will also fulfill the call of God… Every breakthrough in faith comes from a breakthrough in revelation… Every breakthrough in receiving the blessings of God comes from a breakthrough inrevelation and understanding… Every advance in fulfilling the call of God in our lives comes from a breakthroughin the spirit of revelation and understanding…*This prayer is the key to experCheck out our app, Life Church Live:Available on Google Play & App StoresGiving: life-church.org/givingBaptism: https://www.life-church.org/ihavedecidedYouTube ChannelMobile Campus FacebookHurley Campus FacebookInstagram
