Revenge vs. Redemption

from Girl Talk

“Jesus didn’t open His mouth when accused — and sometimes we’re called to do the same.” Revenge might not be something we’d admit to craving, but if we're honest... we've all felt the sting of wanting someone to "get what they deserve." In this episode, Carol, Kelly and Tricia dive into why that feeling is so common, how to know when it's taking root in your heart, and what to do when you’d rather plot revenge than pursue healing. The girls unpack what God says about justice, why revenge never actually satisfies, and how to let go when you're stuck in the hurt. This one is for anyone who's been wronged, wounded, or just wrestling with the desire to "set the record straight." Jesus has something better for us — and it's not silence, it's surrender. Remember Revenge doesn’t heal your pain — Jesus does. It might feel justified in the moment, but revenge won’t bring the peace you’re after. God is a just God. Trusting Him with the outcome frees you from the weight of trying to make things right on your own. Healing is a process. Releasing revenge might not be a one-time thing — and that’s okay. Keep coming back to gratitude, prayer, and His character.

AI Erik's Podcast Audio Erik Conn The AI News Podcast where we talk AI. NEWMORROW SESSIONS - A PodCast Series on the Future of Hospitality Mario C. Bauer, Florian Schneider, Axel Weber & Dr. Tillman Bardt The Newmorrow PodCast is more than a podcast — it's a platform for open dialog on the future of our business, a platform for those building what doesn’t exist yet. Here, we share and embrace our passion for the hospitality industry, but we won’t romanticize the journey. We ask the tough questions, confront uncomfortable truths, and prepare for a future that resists easy answers. We believe that the tougher and wilder times become, the more openly, honestly and humanely people need to talk to each other and act together. We believe, openness, togetherness, and truthfulness should also be cornerstones of a professional community to develop our utopian idea of „open source“. This is a space where visionaries don’t just imagine the future — they wrestle with the paradoxes that shape it: success vs. happiness, data vs. instinct, stability vs. reinvention. Join leaders, entrepreneurs, and thinkers as they share not what made them — but what’s actively shaping them, now and next.
